Our Bachelor of Science (BSN) degree program is designed for registered nurses (RNs) who want a quality education with the convenience and flexibility of an online program.
The program builds on your prior education and experience, transferring up to 90 community college credits. The curriculum provides a foundation of knowledge in a wide array of areas, including leadership in nursing, advanced health assessment and health policy. You may also work on your Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) while completing your BSN. The program’s unique format enables students to apply up to 12 credits toward the MSN degree*.
*Only 9 credits will transfer into the MSN Nurse Educator area of specialty.

Tuition & Financial Aid
Thomas Edison State University is providing RNs who enroll in its RN to BSN program this year with a new tuition option that lowers the net cost to $311 per credit. Admissions Requirements

Full Admission
Full admission is open to students who already have RN licensure in the United States, including:
- Graduates of an RN diploma program of nursing.
- Graduates of a regionally-accredited college of university in the United States with an associate degree in nursing.
- Graduates of a recognized foreign institution with an associate degree in nursing.
A current and valid RN license, recognized in the United States, must be submitted for full admission to the program.

Your Application
You must submit:
- A completed application, with the nonrefundable fee
- All official transcripts
- Learn how to send all college-level examination score reports.
- A current RN license valid in the United States
- For your application to be processed, the University must be able to validate your RN license. If your state does not have an online RN license validation process, you must submit a notarized copy of current RN license validation in the United States.

Conditional Admission
We offer conditional admission allowing you to start taking BSN courses while awaiting your National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX-RN) results.
