Transfer Credits to TESU
Thomas Edison State University has one of the most flexible transfer credit policies in the country.
- If you studied at an accepted institutionally accredited community college, you may transfer and apply up to 90 credits.
- If you studied at an accepted institutionally accredited four-year institution, you may fulfill all your degree requirements with transfer credit except the two required courses from TESU:
- SOS-1100: Fact, Fiction, or Fake? Information Literacy Today
- Capstone Course
- If you have studied at more than one institution, we can accept your credits, provided the institutions have an accepted institutional accreditation.
Get a full evaluation of your credits when you apply.
Noncollegiate Providers
Thomas Edison State University generally accepts the credit recommendations of ACE (American Council on Education) and NCCRS (National College Credit Recommendation Service), however, the University reserves the right to determine the appropriate equivalency and application to a degree program. The University maintains an Approved Provider Directory of approved non-collegiate providers recommended by either ACE or NCCRS. Visit Educational Provider Review for more information on becoming an approved provider.
TESU programs with or intending to seek programmatic accreditation reserve the right to require programmatic accreditation for transfer credit.
