Military & Veteran Resources

As an active duty service personnel, veteran or immediate family member, you bring valuable experience to the classroom as a student at Thomas Edison State University (TESU). Your demanding schedule requires flexibility. New undergraduate terms start every month, and we offer multiple start dates for graduate terms. Earn your degree whenever you choose no matter where you’re serving or where you’re stationed.

At TESU, your previous experience in and out of the classroom means more — more transfer credit and more savings. Your prior college coursework, military training and hands-on experience on the job will be evaluated to help you obtain a shorter path to graduation.

TESU is proud to offer Active Duty, Air/Army National Guard and Reserve Servicemembers, their spouses and dependents and Department of Defense Civil Service employees a discounted tuition rate of $250 per credit for every undergraduate program (except TESU's nursing programs).

Note: If you plan to use Military Tuition Assistance (TA), you must receive approval from an Education Services Officer (ESO) or counselor within your respective service, prior to enrolling in courses. Please contact one of our Military and Veteran Enrollment Counselors at (609) 777-5696 (Option #2) for additional information if needed.
