Degree Requirements
The following courses are required for the BS degree with an area of study in Information Technology and can be fulfilled in either the General Education or Electives sections of the degree chart.
- Statistics (3 credits)
- College Algebra (3 credits)
- Higher Level Math above College Algebra (3 credits)
- General Chemistry I with Lab or Physics I with Lab (4 credits)
- General Chemistry II with Lab or Physics II with Lab (4 credits)
- Computer Concepts (3 credits)
Certification: Various certifications may be used to satisfy some or all of the Information Technology elective requirements.
How Students Earn Credit in the Area of Study: Students may earn credits by selected technical certifications, testing, online courses, courses at other regionally accredited institutions or through Prior Learning Assessment (PLA).
