Associate in Science (A.S.) in Electronics Engineering Technology

Advance your career in today’s highly automated electronic workplace and gain a solid theoretical foundation in electronics applications with an Associate in Science (AS) degree with an area of study in Electronics Engineering Technology. Our 60-credit program is designed for students in the electronics industry who seek the knowledge to troubleshoot, maintain and repair electronic systems, computer hardware, avionics, network technologies and more.

Degree Requirements

The following courses are required for the AS degree program with an area of study in Electronics Engineering Technology and can be fulfilled in either the General Education or Electives sections of the degree chart.

• College Algebra (3 credits)
• Physics I with Lab (4 credits)
• Physics II with Lab (4 credits)

How Students Earn Credit in the Option: Almost all of the courses required for the option are available by independent study and distance education courses from other universities.

Note: Courses listed in the Area of Study are offered as a guide. Other courses may also be considered appropriate for the program. The inclusion of similar courses must be reviewed by the Evaluation team. Students must submit their program plan for review to ensure that course selection is appropriate for the degree.
