* To be used by students who need additional time to complete coursework or exams past the end date of the term. This fee cannot be used to extend enrollment and does not keep a student enrolled if the annual enrollment year has expired.
** Paid the year of graduation. Graduates of certificate programs will pay the $105 amount. All other graduates pay the full amount.

Edison Accelerate Fee
- In-state or out-of-state associate/bachelor's: $3,354

For those who bring a significant number of credits from prior college experiences, Edison Accelerate* provides a streamlined, cost-effective pathway to graduation.
*Beyond the Credit Hour Residency Requirement, Edison Accelerate does not waive any degree policies or requirements.
Special Assessment Fees
- Individual Learning Account (formerly known as Credit Banking): $419
Regardless of residence, military personnel have the option to pay New Jersey residency tuition, as long as they have selected and paid the Per Credit Tuition. Military programs and related tuition and fees can be viewed here.
Note: All tuition and fees listed here were approved on June 7, 2024, by the Board of Trustees of Thomas Edison State University and are effective for the August 2024 term. Tuition and fees are subject to change.
