Thomas Edison State University (TESU) proudly celebrates the recognition of two of its distinguished female leaders for their contributions to higher education and public affairs in New Jersey. President Merodie A. Hancock, Ph.D., has been named to the ROI Influencers Power List in Higher Education, while Marcela Maziarz, vice president for community and government affairs, has been honored as one of the Women in Power in NJ by “InsiderNJ.”

The publication notes that the University "always has been a step ahead in online learning — and mid-career workers looking to finish their degree."
Maziarz’s recognition by “InsiderNJ” reflects her influential role in advocating for legislative policies that enhance educational opportunities and workforce alignment across the state. Her dedication to fostering political partnerships and engaging with key stakeholders has strengthened TESU’s impact on both the state and national levels.
