Planning and Research

The Division of Planning and Research provides strategic leadership in the quality of learner experience through planning, research and assurance. The Division of Planning and Research provides information with the purpose of identifying problems, suggesting solutions to promote growth and operations, strengthening the student experience, policy formation, planning and increase the overall satisfaction of the University as well as calling attention to the success of certain areas in which the University should prosper.

The Division of Planning and Research completes these responsibilities through compiling data focused on engagement at the University. Examples of reports include demographic information, enrollment data, degrees conferred, student satisfaction surveys and environmental scanning. Using the generated data, the University can create standards to drive decisions on improving systems, best practices and infrastructure to the University.

Mission


The mission of the Division of Planning and Research is to provide timely, relevant and actionable information to the University leadership. Critical additional missions include providing timely and accurate University information to state and federal regulators as well as accreditation organizations; coordinating the University’s quality assurance program; providing market research; conducting environmental scans; analyzing institutional effectiveness; and assisting with University-wide planning.
